News update content

News update content

This feature allows you to update information about your news. You can modify the publish date, archive date, title, and content. Additionally, you can change the language to create news in a different language. This option is only available if multiple languages are enabled in your circle's settings.

1 - Access the 'News' feature



2 - Select the news from which you want to edit the content.

If you don't see the desired news, it might be in another section. In this example, the news is in 'Upcoming'



3 - News update
  1. The publish date defines the moment the news will become visible in your network. You can set a future date if you don’t want the news to be published immediately.
  2. The archive date defines the moment the news will no longer be visible in your network. This date must be later than the publish date.
  3. Allows you to update the news in another language of your circle.
  4. The title is simply the title of the news.
  5. The content is the message of your news. You can leave this section empty if you wish.
  6. This option allows your followers to post comments under the news on the website.
  7. The 'Apply' button will update the news in the language of your circle that was selected in section 'C' in the previous section.



4 - After you press the 'Apply' button

Once the news is update, you will see a message if the update was successful. You can press 'News' to return to the list. In this example, i only changed the title, from 'Weekly News' to 'Weekly News 9 to 13 Dec,' along with the date.



5 - Result of News update
Here you can see that the title and the date of the news have been updated.
If you don't see the updated news, it might be in another section. In this example, the news is in 'Upcoming'.
